What’s next entering the offseason for the Charlotte Hornets?

Charlotte hornets is a famous professional basketball team which a rising team of charlotte in the eastern conference. The team is made of young talented players making a huge fan following base. The Charlotte Hornets were founded in 1988 as an expansion team owned by George Shinn.

Shinn sold his previous franchise and purchased a new one in New Orleans in 2002. Shinn was controversially allowed to relocate his basketball organization to Charlotte. After two seasons of inactivity, the Charlotte club, rebranded as the Charlotte Bobcats at the time, was reactivated under new ownership in the 2004–05 NBA season.

In 2013, the Bobcats announced that they would rename themselves the Charlotte Hornets for the 2014–15 season. However, for a franchise that hasn’t been used to playing postseason basketball in the last decade, the offseason is critical.

Gordon Hayward’s Long-Term Status in Charlotte-

He played 49 games and missed 22 of the team’s final 23 games, which included game against Atlanta Hawks. He also knows as the player who is brought up to the multiple occasions in offseason trade chatter.

Hornets don’t want to get rid of him and probably by doing so they would be creating for themselves by bringing such talent who could add up a value to them.

Options available At the Centre-

Tackling center stage is certainly something that could be discussed in a deal involving Gordon Hayward this season and there are a few other hot names too to which Charlotte has been linked with over the years.

One target for the charlotte hornet could be Indiana Pacers big man Myles Turner. it wouldn’t be too shocking to see the them making this deal to get him this season.
